What is available for GCSE students?
CasaLingua offers weekly one-to-one or small group tutorials for students of French, Spanish and Italian. These classes are ideal for students who are looking to supplement their school-based learning and boost their chances of GCSE exam success. The group tutorials are limited to 6 learners. Later in the academic year, we also run skill-specific, focused GCSE masterclasses. Students who opt for these sessions can sign up to revise all of the exam skills (listening, reading and writing) or just those that have been highlighted by their teachers as an area of concern.
Why should I sign my child up?
At CasaLingua, our experienced language tutors build positive relationships and understand how to get the best out of our students - and we believe that everyone can make progress! Some students really benefit from structured, guided sessions and this is what our tutors provide. Our tutors will also leave your child with a better idea of how to study effectively and more efficiently once the sessions are finished. The online sessions will also allow students to have access to the recorded sessions.
What are the costs of these sessions?
A one to one GCSE tutorial is £35 and a place in a small tutorial group is £20. We ask that our students commit to at least one half term so that they get a chance to get to know the tutor and feel comfortable in their session. We invoice for the half term before the sessions commence and, unfortunately, missed sessions (even when advanced notice is given) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I not sign up for the occasional session?
We understand that students who are preparing for exams sometimes have an urgent, immediate need for a tutors help. We may have some availability for one-to-one coaching so get in touch and we will see if we can help.
